Originally a native of South Carolina and graduate of the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, I moved to the Atlanta area to begin a career with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 1981. I was hired as an Air Traffic Controller after the strike and during my 30 year career with the FAA, I functioned in many positions ranging from Air Traffic Controller to Facility Manager of Atlanta Air Route Traffic Control Center. While working with the FAA, I attended Georgia State University (GSU) College of Law and graduated in June 2000. I worked in the FAA Legal department for many years.
I attended law school with Bridgette M. Palmer, one of the partners at KIRBY PALMER FARRELL, LLC. I feel very blessed and fortunate to have been able to work with their upstanding and reputable firm since my retirement from the FAA.
I have two grown daughters, Lindsay, a graduate of Gordon Nursing School, and Morgan, a graduate of Auburn University. I enjoy biking, hiking, kayaking, yoga, and target shooting in my spare time.
I love my work with the firm helping clients and I especially enjoy being able to visit businesses and organizations to provide the estate planning service, at a reduced fee, in a group setting called “Wills To You”. More information can be found at www.willstoyou.com.
